Is there an international air traffic control radio language?

I always thought hat no matter where a pilot is, he must speak english on the radio. Is this true?

      Yes, It can only be English. Somethimes in foreign countries it is hard to understand the Air Traffic Controllers.

      For atc instructions see the common terms used for non english when flying internationally but its actually only aviation english speaking pilots.
